In ages past, the only need for work consisted of food, shelter and clothing; the basic needs of survival. As nations grew and economies developed, wants began to encroach upon needs culminating in the America of today. Working simply for survival has been replaced with working to make the most money possible to afford the most things and items to give the most status and/or comfort. As of July 11th a new employee will join a local non-profit corporation with a salary in the $50,000 range. As more workers are being laid off in other organizations this corporation is adding to staff with the use of our local currency - Equal Dollars. The new employee will be paid 1/2 in U.S. currency and 1/2 in Equal Dollars
Where did this corporation get the =$s? The answer is simple - by making an interest free loan of 30,000 =$ from the local currency bank - and it owes those 30,000 back by December of 2014 so it has five years to earn those funds from its community activities.
Now for-profit and non-profit corporations can add to their productivity and employment base (rather than cutting back on needed employees) by borrowing and using this local currency system.
Want more info on how your corporation can make an interest free loan? Write to Deneene Brockington

The pads you will receive will have more paper than you would get from any of our (known) competitors - 60 pages per pad. Of course they are blank on one side and used on the other. Many people have found it interesting to see what's on the OTHER side of the paper. But you don't have to look - just guess!
The Experienced Pads recycle paper a second time before it reaches the waste stream. And the Experienced Pads also provide local employment for the Disabled and ex-offender population. The more orders we get the more people we will employ and the more paper will be used one more time by you, your organization and your kids.
Let us know your ideas reactions and suggestions for this simple but totally new product.

This last week our community currency bank made its first interest free loan of 30,000 units. These Equal Dollars will be used to pay 50% of the salary for a new employee of the Philadelphia Share organization. This ground breaking action increases the currency in circulation to over 50,000 units. Bob Fishman, RHD's executive director also announced that "we are in conversation with a local community construction company that is interested in a loan of 10,000 units of the currency". Now you can order Experienced Pads for your own (or your business)use. They are made from 100% recycled paper (Experienced on only one side so far) We sell them in packages of 10 or boxes (recycled boxes of course) of 100 pads to the box. The current introductory price is $3 for a package of 10 or $27 for a box of 100 and that's a remarkable price for pads - particularly because they do a number of things at the same time: SAVE TREES AND THE ENVIRONMENT EMPLOY THE DISABLED, EX-CONS AND UNEMPLOYED Shipping and tax is extra but go to our store and put in your order. If you live near our current production facility in Wynewood Pa. you can save shipping and pick up your pads there.
From the Editor: Even better! Introductory price will be $3.30 and will include shipping!
